Refer to the following pdf for further information MBA Flowchart
Core Courses
Students have to select 5 courses of all the 800 level courses. The advantage students have here is that they can show two specializations by playing around with the course selection. Please contact iga@sfsu.edu to understand this format.
Refer to the following pdf for further information MBA Flowchart

Waiving Session
Students can waive the above mentioned foundation courses. In this session students have to show their past course syllabus stamped by the university and orignal transscripts. There is a waiving session at the beginning of every semester wherein professors of different concentration sit and students come and waive thier courses. However students can also waive the courses after the session.

We recommend students to get their course waived within two months so that its easy to select course for the mext semester. The enrollment for the next semester starts around 2 months into the current semester which is called priority registration.

However if the students are not able to waive or clear the exams then they have to take the course. They get one extra chance to pass the Maths,English and Statistics exam.

Career Fairs
The career fair at the College of Busines was started in Spring 2007.Most of the students who have got internships or full time have got it through thier own network or by applying to jobs on the the various job websites.
In Fall 2008 known firms like MSCI Barra,Advanced Equities had come to the career fair for recruting. There is one career fair every semester towards the end of the semester.
